Starting from 2011, this journal publishes articles twice a year (i.e. June and December issues) in order to allow more room for more articles to be published. The frequency of journal publications will be increased in the future if it is indicated. Official announcement will be made from time to time in this website.

Instruction to Author(s)

The Journal encourages all contributors to submit their manuscript(s) through email eimjeditor@saifulbahri.com. Manuscript preparation must meet the Journal requirement, which are in accordance with ‘Uniform Requirement for Manuscript Submitted to Biomedical Journal’ developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (available at www.cimje.org). Manuscript should be concisely written, appropriately referenced (recommended is vancouver citation) and coherently focus. Originality and policy: Manuscript are reviewed with the understanding that they represent original material, have never been published before, are not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and have been approved by all authors. All accepted manuscripts become the property of www.saifulbahri.com and may not be published elsewhere.

The journal publishes original articles, review articles, commentaries, special communications, innovative ideas, and short reports on interesting programme, workshops or student activities. All manuscripts will be send through ‘blinded peer-review process’ and it will take around 1 to 2 months. Decision on articles acceptance for publication will be made not more than 3 months.

For articles on short reports (programme, workshop or student activities) maximum words are 500. Starting from October 2011, authors must include at least 1 reference and maximum of 3 references in the report. The format is as below (figures and tables are not required, e.g. PDF):
